Significantly Better Design Quality

We completely overhauled how the AI generates designs. Layouts are more polished, spacing is tighter, and typography is more intentional. The entire generation pipeline was rethought from the ground up.

Brand Kit

Save your brand colors, fonts, and logos. Apply your brand kit to any design with one click, and the AI will use your brand assets when generating.

Design Theme Selector

Choose from color palettes and font pairings before generating. Pick a Glacier color scheme, pair it with Geometric fonts, and the AI applies your preferences.

AI Rewind

Rewind your canvas to the state before any AI message. Each prompt automatically saves a snapshot so you can safely experiment.

Gallery & Community Designs

Share your designs with the community. Mark designs as remixable so others can use them as starting points.

Referral System

Invite friends and earn bonus AI credits. Share your unique referral code from the dashboard.

Settings Modal

New unified settings with tabs for account, preferences, usage analytics, billing, and brand kit management. Access everything in one place.

Auto Thumbnails

Projects now automatically generate static image thumbnails. See a preview of your design instantly with no loading wait - no more blank project cards.

PPTX Import

Import PowerPoint presentations directly into Kodo. Your slides become editable pages with text, images, and shapes preserved.

Magic Resize

Instantly resize frames to preset formats like Instagram Post, Story, LinkedIn, YouTube Thumbnail, and more. One-click resize from the frame toolbar.

Page Reordering

Drag and drop pages in the bottom navigation bar to reorder them. Arrow buttons let you scroll through pages when you have many.

Export Improvements

Text effects, image effects, Components, and Boolean layers now export correctly to PNG, PDF, and PPTX.

AI Research Tools

The AI can now search the web for facts before designing. Ask it to research brand colors, dimensions, or any reference information.

AI Region Targeting

Draw a rectangle on any frame to tell the AI exactly where to place or edit content. Region tags appear inline in your prompt like @layer mentions, with a mini map preview showing the targeted area. Click a region tag to highlight it on canvas, and all regions clear automatically after sending.

AI Suggestions

After each AI response, you'll see clickable suggestion chips with follow-up ideas. Click any suggestion to use it as your next prompt.

AI Clarifying Questions

The AI can now ask clarifying questions before designing. Answer quick multiple-choice questions about your preferences, and the AI uses your answers to create exactly what you want.

Redesigned Canvas

Cleaner, more focused canvas view. Tools now live in a minimal top bar with dropdown panels, giving you more space to design.

Text Editing Improvements, Multi-Select Enhancements, and AI Safety

AI Model Selector

New Fast/Accurate toggle in the AI panel. Choose 'Fast' for quick, cost-effective responses using Gemini Flash, or 'Accurate' for higher quality results using Claude Opus.

Fix Spelling Button

New AI-powered spelling correction button in the text toolbar. Automatically fixes spelling errors while preserving formatting, tone, and grammar. Includes visual feedback with loading spinner and success animation.

Multiline Text Editing

Improved text editing experience for multiline text layers. Text no longer collapses to a single line during editing, and the textarea properly displays and preserves line breaks.

Canva-Style Multi-Select

Enhanced multi-selection with individual outlines for each selected layer, just like Canva. Resize all selected layers together or resize individual layers while keeping the selection active.

Frame Selection Improvements

Better frame interaction: clicking and dragging inside a frame now initiates marquee selection of its contents instead of selecting the frame. Frames only select on simple clicks.

AI Overlap Detection

Extended overlap detection to prevent AI from placing icons, images, and illustrations over text layers. The AI now receives canvas state in error messages to quickly reposition elements without deleting work.

Frame Color Swatch Fix

Fixed color swatch display in the layer toolbar to correctly show and update frame background colors.

Multi-Select Resize Fix

Fixed bug where multi-select resizing would project in the opposite direction. Resizing now correctly tracks handle movement for all selected layers.

Multi-Page Support

Create designs with multiple pages. Navigate between pages using the new page bar at the bottom of the canvas, with thumbnail previews showing each page's content.

Mobile Experience Overhaul

Text and image toolbars now dock at the top of the canvas (Canva-style) for a cleaner editing experience and more consistent positioning.
